    Karua was a constant presence in Takumi’s life. Having been close friends since childhood, he never imagined their relationship was on a timer. Eventually the two of them would officially wind up together and go on to live happy, healthy lives. However, with his true feelings left unsaid, that opportunity was taken away without warning in one of the most gruesome ways possible.

    After then relocating to the country side to start recovering from the trauma of the event, Takumi meets the mysterious girl working at the town butchery. She’s pretty and just full of smiles, and he is far from immune. Of course she wasn’t Karua and could never be Karua…

    But it’s just familiar enough to make things feel remotely normal again.
