“Shhh,” she said as she stood up, hands on the armrests of his chair as she leaned forward. Her lips were at his ear, her long strands of hair spilling over her shoulder and her loose blouse slipping down her arms. “It looks like I have to remind you who I am to you, Your Grace.”
Clorinde gets jealous and reminds the Duke who she is to him. Wriothesley makes sure she remembers she belongs to him and only him.

Trinity squealed and covered her mouth, gripping onto his arm as the Islanders quickly agreed, screaming their names and chanting, seemingly coming to a consensus. Bryce’s jaw dropped as he made eye contact with Trinity once again. They were going to the fucking hideaway. His face immediately began to flush at the realization of what this meant; Bryce and Trinity were going to be alone together, for the whole night, in their own room. Alone. Finally allowed to do whatever they wished without worry of bed neighbors hearing muffled sounds under a comforter. Just him and Trinity, the woman of his dreams, his girlfriend, alone.
He felt like he was going to throw up.
Or: the Islanders get to deem another couple worthy of the hideaway, and newly official Bryce and Trinity are chosen by their peers for a special night alone. Needless to say, the lovebirds are hungry, and they share a lot more than french fries.
