It was easier before he began running from shadows. It was easier before he met Michel and the phantom behind him who leaves even the usually gregarious Grantaire speechless.
Now, several years after running away from his friends and leaving them with nothing but radio silence to remember him by, Alex is back and he and Grantaire are going to have to work things out with a certain couple of blonds whether they like it or not.

The little renegade club's president is remarkably compelling for a freshman, however, and it's actually kind of nice to have people around who are so determined to call him a friend. He wasn't intending to stay but staying might be just what he needs to get himself through his senior year.
