"It looks like someone left you something, aw!" Kiryu comes up from behind Tsugeura, letting his sleeve-clad hands come up and frame his face. "Looks cute, I wonder what it means~"
"What does what mean—" Sakura grits out, annoyed that his friends won't just let him stumble upon this whatever by himself, and pushes through the two in front of him. And then, he blinks.
There's flowers on his desk. A bunch of them.
A little stunned, Sakura walks quietly to his desk, and sits down. Laying his lunch off to the side, Sakura carefully regards the flowers on his desk.
Flowers…he's never been given flowers before.or: Sakura is mysteriously gifted a love confession in the form of flowers on Valentine's Day, and nobody knows who did it.

He was only five years old when it dawned on him how utterly and truly alone he was.
He’d been waiting like a good boy for over three hours now right outside of the big department store in his town. It was nearly dark, the street lamps were starting to light up and yet here he was, waiting patiently for someone he wasn’t sure was coming. The last rays of sunlight were beginning to give way to the eternal blanket of a long night, the chill in the air more pronounced and prominent than before.
He felt lonely and abandoned.
Yet still hopeful.
