Anna is Queen of Arendelle. She is pregnant, politically besieged, and haunted by a life that doesn't quite fit—gaps in memory she can't explain, habits that belong to no one, and hands that are always too warm. Something is missing. She can feel it in the cold wind that smells of pine and snow on a July night. In the water that should be cold but isn't. In the third glass she pours without knowing why.
Someone close to her knows what was lost. He carries the proof near his heart every night, and he will never speak of it.

It was snowing heavily outside. The doors and windows were closed shut as to not let the biting cold enter. But what might have enlarged the suffering of an ordinary person had no effect on the sickly figure, curled up on the bed. And yet, the cold had started to bother Queen Elsa.
