Summary
Harry's first primary teacher reported the Dursleys for abuse, so Harry was adopted by a loving couple that were engaged in researching esoteric science. Rather than ignore the accidental magic that Harry had done, Rebecca and Edward Sharp helped their new son control and hone his abilities. By the time Harry's Godfather and Uncle Remus tracked Harry down he was already quite skilled in certain uses of magic, even if he called it 'Fizz'. He was also best friends and brother to Matilda Honey, a girl who could also move things with her mind, but not in the same way he could.
As such, it is time for a poignant goodbye between Harry and his Family on September 1st, 1991. He has new people to meet, things to learn, and he's been contracted as an agent by his parents' boss to find out how dangerous the magical world might be for humanity as a whole.
This won't be a canon rehash, but there will be some familiar encounters because it wouldn't be as fun otherwise. No House of Potter or Lordship games, even if the Blacks still have a large amount of influence. Dating will happen in the future, but the kids are 11, give them a minute.
Oh, Harry is eleven and therefore can be rather silly at times.

This work is intended to cover up until August 31st, 1991.
The next work in the series (Harry Potter, Paranormal Agent) will cover Harry's time at school.I'm aiming for a bunch of snapshots into events around Harry's life and where this premise diverges from what we are used to seeing. Hopefully I can avoid verbatim retellings of what we have all read before.

Summary
At fourteen Harry was quickly becoming aware of his fated place in the world and to be completely honest, he was fucking terrified.
The magical world he’d fallen in love with was starting to feel less and less like the safe and loving home he’d once believed it to be, with the looming threat of a war over his head and his destined role to play within it.
However, his future may not be as set in stone as he thinks after a meeting with who he thought was his fated, mortal enemy leaves him confused and questioning the people who he thought he trusted.OR Harry meets a very different Voldemort at the end of fourth year, leaving Harry very confused and wondering "Why tf is my greatest enemy, like, the nicest adult i’ve met?”

Summary
Harry has always been touch-starved. His friends have always been open to providing support. When he goes for help after an episode, he finds only Percy there. A person who doesn't seem to enjoy being touched very much.
On top of everything, Harry Potter is secretly in love with Percy Weasley.

This was an odd little earworm of a plot bunny that wouldn't leave me alone. I'm much more inclined to shorter works, so it's a bit of a patchwork story.
Note on the tags. Petunia is... Petunia. She is not really 'Nice' or 'Good' but she's not 'Mean' or 'Evil' either. She's a selfish, self-centered woman with a brittle sense of self-esteem and a drive to be recognized as successful in her own right. I tagged it 'Good' because that was the closest I could get to 'not the horrible person from the book, but not really even close to a Molly'.
Also: I will not be tagging every single person who appears in the fic, only those with reoccurring roles. This is not a bashing fic and I've done as best as possible to give rational(ish) 'good intentions' explanations for the canon shenanigans.
