All it is is that one day he is Stanley and he has a girl, and he likes girls, and he’s perfectly well and good being a man, and then one next day he’s at a bar drinking, and he realizes he’s stumbled into a queer bar, and there’s a boy hanging off his arm and he’s thinking, this might as well happen.

So, sue her, she doesn’t really get the whole thing. Or, at least, she doesn’t get anyone else's thing. Her thing makes perfect sense to her.
