Samira took in the curl of his cherry gray hair; the wrinkles and the muscles on his neck, head down-turned to focus on his writing. She wondered if the faint freckles had always been there, or if they were a result from too much time spent in the sun. Finally, she answered with a reverent whisper.
"We both wish to understand the vampiric body."

"Dennis," he said in almost a growl. Dennis tensed his shoulders at the firm voice behind him. He knew he wouldn't be able to avoid this interrogation much longer.
Still completely silent, Dennis allowed himself to be manipulated by the other man's grip, which forced him to turn on his own feet, and although he tried to avoid it at all costs, he came face to face with Andrew's sharp gaze for the first time all morning."Who did this to you?" he insisted firmly as he sought his gaze and once again held Dennis's wrists under his hands, simply letting them fall over his outstretched fingers, avoiding using a more intense grip.
Or: Andrew notices Dennis's wrists covered in bruises, it turns out, they are his own doing. What he doesn't know yet is that his boyfriend is more than happy with it, he might even have a solution to fix this little incident!
