Summary
"Saudade" can’t be easily translated into English. It refers to a wistful longing to be close once more to something or someone that is now distant, or that has been loved and then lost. It is the bittersweet feeling of "the love that remains", the nostalgia that lingers long after something, or someone is gone.
Gulping down his emptiness Jeon enters the room, passing through the large standing arrangements at the entrance, eyes scanning every corner. There are people in black holding tissues, some being hugged and held close. Others were drinking their sorrows and regrets away, ‘what could have beens’ whispered to no one, and forgotten promises being swallowed down with the smooth taste of soju and a variety of foods. His feelings are numb, his legs dragging him nowhere and everywhere at the same time, love and death, sorrow and longing waiting at the altar in the back of the room. His love is happy in the photo, in contrast to the sadness twirling around the entire room, in contrast to how broken he feels.
Among work, allowing himself to love again, and never-ending grief, Jeongguk sees himself over the edge. And Taehyung might just be there to catch him in case he falls.Everything starts and ends here.

Best slice of life I've ever read.
!SPOILERS!
Some things in life just don't have a proper closure: maybe JK never got to talk to his father again, we will never know if Jisun tried to reach out or if they ever sought her out. And that's life.
Forgiving myself and allowing myself to things seem easier somehow.
