Yuuta figured it wouldn't hurt to secretly download and try out an RPG game one of his friends recommended. Unfortunately, Yuuta finds himself getting more roped up into the game than he should, and he has no one else to blame but himself after catching feelings for a mysterious, high-level player who so happened to rescue him from a raid, one night. And before Yuuta knows it, this player now seems to have grown a habit of spoiling him a little too generously with in-game currency...
Things only become more complicated when the guild comes to the false assumption of him being a female, after a frantic voice call session that left Yuuta in even more deep shit.
It doesn't help that his in-game avatar is a katana-wielding catgirl, too.

Standing up, Hajime wipes down his clothes, removing any possible wrinkles in the fabric, before turning to the women. “Mother, may I be dismissed? It is nearly time for my violin lesson.”
“Oh, is it three already?” mother asks, not even looking up as she delicately stirs sugar into her porcelain cup. “I suppose that man from the lower district has entered through the back gate by now.”
“The one with the cheap perfume?” The woman beside her covers a smirk with her gloved hand. “Honestly, Sayako, I do not know how you tolerate such people in the house.”
“You need not rush, Hajime-kun,” another woman chimes in. “It does those types good to be kept waiting. It reminds them of their place.”
Hajime’s jaw clenches hard enough to ache. He bows stiffly, voice tight. “I prefer not to waste my own time, so I will be heading out now. Please, excuse me.”

They stand shoulder to shoulder, leaning against the railing. Megumi watches the cherry of his cigarette burn, and strangely feels like he could just stay like this for a while. If it’s with him.
"Itadori..." Megumi starts. He wants to say thank you. For the help. For the night overall, really.
But the words die in his throat as a phone buzzes sharply in Itadori's pocket. He pulls it out and glances at the screen, and Megumi watches his entire body go rigid.
"Everything alright?" Megumi asks, instinctively leaning in. "Troubles at work?"
Itadori stares at the glowing display in heavy silence."No, not work," Itadori says, his voice dropping an octave. "It's Yuta."
Megumi freezes, the cigarette trembling slightly between his fingers.
"Yuta?" he asks, trying to lace the name with indifference.
"My boyfriend."

“Oh, nonsense.” By the sound of his voice and the shape of those syllables molded by curled lips, Oikawa’s smile must be utterly euphoric. “Tobio and I are very close.”
