Summary
All of a sudden, Lan Wangji found himself choking on a mouthful of snow, courtesy of Sect Leader Jiang. Jiang Cheng cackled at Hanguang-jun’s scandalized expression, but his laughter was short-lived as Lan Wangji retaliated and spit the snow directly into his face. Lan Wangji’s rare smile appeared once more as he watched Jiang Cheng sputter and flail his arms in disbelief.
“You’re shameless!” Jiang Cheng hissed, furiously scrubbing his face.
“You started it.” Lan Wangji shot back.
“You’re the one who put snow down my robes in the first place!"

(Or, nobody really knows that LW and JC are two halves of a chaotic pair, but then everyone witnesses them having a snowball fight, and gets to see their...interesting...dynamic firsthand. Needless to say, they're a bit shocked...and a little scarred.)Series

Summary
“Hanguang-jun, don’t make my sacrifice worthless.” Jiang Cheng pleaded. He’d already had one brother do that to him, he wasn’t sure if he could bear another doing the same thing. “You have to leave me here.”
Lan Wangji looked him directly in the eyes as he said, “I’m not leaving you.”
“You have too!” Jiang Cheng tried to raise his voice, but it came out weak and pathetic, so he tried again. “You can’t die here!”
“And you can?” Jiang Cheng was shocked to find that Lan Wangji sounded genuinely angry.

“You know…” Jiang Cheng commented as he continued down the path, carrying the esteemed Hanguang-jun on his shoulders. “You’re getting kind of heavy.”
Lan Wangji tugged at Jiang Cheng’s hair, muttering “You’re just weak.”
“Ow!” Jiang Cheng cried out, stumbling over his feet. But he quickly regained balance, no thanks to his brother-in-law. “Maybe you’re just fat.” Jiang Cheng hissed.
He was nothing if not petty.

Jiang Cheng whipped his head towards Lan Wangji who sat stone-faced, staring straight ahead. 'Am I being trolled by Hanguang-jun?' Jiang Cheng couldn’t help snorting once more.
“Be careful Hanguang-jun. Or I may just start to like you.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it, Sect Leader Jiang.” The corners of Lan Wangji’s mouth twitched upwards and Jiang Cheng felt his mouth do the same.

“...What’s this?” Jiang Cheng gestured to the small wooden table in the middle of his nephew’s room. There were four cups placed on each side of the table, along with four corresponding mats to sit on. Three of the four mats were unoccupied. “Why is a paper doll sitting at the table?”
Jin Ling huffed as if Jiang Cheng was being the ridiculous one. “That’s Sect Leader Nie of course.”
Jiang Cheng was beginning to understand why Jingyi and Sizhui ran away.
