Summary
“..I wish to seek out the False Star.”
Frederick's entire body stiffened, gaze hardening as though struck by lightning. Richard continued, “A long time ago I heard a legend that only elves with royal blood could guide a wary traveler such as myself to the False Star.” Richard let out a weary sigh, “It’s a little embarrassing to grovel, and what I’m asking is a heavy burden, but I’m practically going to be risking my life to get you out of here, so..”
“Won’t you be a dear and help me?”

Summary
The "dentist" has lived a life where his hands defined him. They were trained for precision, control, and detachment—dentistry, experimentation, and everything he tried to keep emotionally distant. Yet, those same hands ended up holding his son as a baby, changing him, feeding him, protecting him, and ultimately refusing to leave when escape was possible.
Or: daddy finsen, LITERALLY.

Summary
Thinks that Curly is dissecting him alive, like he’s an animal pinned to a table, watching organ after organ emerge out of his ribcage. Prying his very chest open, taking out every childish hope, every dark and pulsating desire, bringing them to the unbearable light of the fireplace. Wants to keep being sliced open. Wants more of whatever this is. Has never been seduced before; suspects that, in some twisted way, that’s what’s going on. Feels set ablaze by that idea.
(Jud purchases the Elixir of Egypt. Has an earth-shattering conversation with Ali Hakim. Then has the most strange encounter.)
