Enid was a typical teenager, with shitty family, even shittier parents and an undeserving environment. Even after she begged to go to Nevermore, her parents wouldn't let her, so at the age of eighteen, she took the first moment she could, and escaped the hell that was her life in California. In New York, she started working as a photographer, and fixed electronic gadgets in her free time to continue her hobby. One fateful day she participated on a guided tour inside OSCORP. The power went off due to a robbery nearby, and during the chaos, one of the experimental spiders there escaped and bit Enid. Things became exciting real quick after that. After becoming Spider-Wolf, she, as spider norms dictate, went broke. Now she needs an apartment to live in. Fortunately, there is a flat where she could stay at for almost no money, provided she could tolerate the other inhabitant, a goth, gloomy private investigator who is a chemist in her free time.

“We can pretend,” she sang with an upswing in her tone. “C’mon, you can’t tell me this wouldn’t be the coolest contest to win and that it’s not practically made for us! ... honestly, it’s not like we’d have to change all that much. Half our friends already think we’re dating anyways–”
“What–”
“And if we just told everyone we were, they would all totes be on board. Trust me they stan.”
“They what?” Wednesday was just as confused with the slang as the topic, but Enid stood up and continued as if she was keeping up.
“This would actually be a perfect way to come out as a couple. I could say that we’ve been keeping it under wraps since we all know how you are,” Wednesday stood up and followed her roommate as she began to wander during the explanation of what was unfurling into some sort of teen romance masterplan. “But since we wouldn’t be able to participate in this contest without everyone finding out,” she abruptly turned around, causing the follower to stop short, “BAM! Here we are, world!” Enid beamed.
Finally an adventure without bad guys or danger… or was it?

"Like how?" Enid asked, tilting her head.
"We could grow closer in proximity." Wednesday said.
Enid looked at her quizzically, clearly not picking up on what Wednesday was suggesting, "like you watch me sleep?"
"We can sleep in the same bed, Enid." Wednesday sighed.
"Oh,, ohhh."

Classic sharing a bed trope turned into a slowburn. The premise is Enid has PTSD from what happened from the first semester, she angsty about it. Wednesday is awkward but trying to be supportive as she can but she is kinda bad at emotions guys. They end up making an agreement that Enid can sleep in Wednesday bed. Gay shit happens. There's more plot after but that's for you to find out. ;]
