Muu was starting to get really worried. She hadn't really believed that Haruka would do something so stupid, had figured it was probably just a way to try to get Es on her side.
She had a plan though. Maybe not a very good one, but if this didn't work she was worried he really would wither away to nothing. She'd wasted a month just preparing herself, and she'd only thought of it a few weeks in. Since then though, she'd been vigilant, having some sort of fennel, anise, or ginger in nearly every meal, spending almost every waking moment tugging at her nipples, hoping for even a drop of milk. Even now that her body had taken the hint, he was almost two months into not eating, and looking frailer by the day.
