"I'll see you later, Satoru. It was-" A pause, she squints. Focus. "-nice talking, and-"
Her hands are shaking. It's weird. Maybe it's just sweat or clammy hands, but she drops her bag. It hits the pavement with a dull thud, and she doesn't even flinch, oddly disoriented.
"Miss Nekoyashiki?!" She hears, the formality returning with the clear worry in their tone. She does mean to reply, but her world is tilting awkward to the side, legs unusually weak.
There's a voice, someone walking towards her with urgency.
And then everything goes dark.

In which Mayu's grand quest for embroidery thread turns into fainting and head injuries. Turns out heat exhaustion and sleep deprivation don't mix all too well.... At least she finds help in a friend and their unamused looking pet rabbit.

It sighs, defeated. “I’m having trouble writing my name again.” It admits, embarrassed blush dusting their cheeks. Stollen blinks, a little surprised. She sighs, busying herself with nudging herself closer to them on the bench they’re sharing, right in the empty classroom, which definitely feels cosier when it’s just the two of them.
“Do you want me to help?” She offers, a little nervous about butting in like this. She just hopes it doesn’t come off as rude, though it wouldn’t be the first time she’s messed up like that. Instead, Strawberry Cream’s eyes light up, practically twinkling as it gazes at her like she’s found them the best gift in the world.
… It’s strange, but Stollen finds her own cheeks heating up, chest all fluffy and warm at the puppy dog eyes they give her.

It’s not that unreasonable to find Stollen studying so late into the cold nights, but on this particular evening she finds herself helping her partner, Strawberry Cream Cookie.
(And if she finds that her heart won’t stop racing a mile a minute, that’s no ones business but her own.)

Summary
Mashiro stares back at her, face twisted in concern. It hurts, deep in Sora's chest, to see her best friend like that. She tilts her head, curiously. Did something happen? Mashiro's moving her around, helping her sit up and examining her head, asking tons of questions that blur together. There's an uncomfortable warmth to her skin, and sweat pools on her forehead. Mashiro sighs a little, as if realising something.
"Sora, why are you on the floor?" She asks, and it's the most worried Sora's ever heard her. "Are you hurt?"
Sora squints, leaning most of her weight on Mashiro without even realising, halfway to sitting on her lap at this point. "...No?"

Sora has a hard time sleeping and gets sick, Mashiro wants to take care of her.
