Summary
The curse user dies quickly but horribly, because even at eight years old and terribly disoriented, Satoru Gojo remains in a league all his own. The breath in Megumi’s chest releases in a wheezing gasp.
Satoru slowly retracts his hand and wipes a tiny shimmer of blood from beneath his nose. “There. He’s gone now.” Familiar blue eyes snap back up to Megumi, brimming with confusion and thinly veiled distrust. “Who are you? ‘Cause if you’re here to kill me, I’ll do the same thing to you.”
OR: A cursed object switches an adult Gojo with his past, extremely displeased eight-year-old self. Megumi handles the aftermath.

multiple tears were shed. i think the concept of transcending time and space, enduring unimaginable pain and suffering, just to find some relief from grief is such a heart wrenching concept. the story is just the type that drives the knife in deep and twists it for good measure.
