Luz blinked, looking up at the person trying to help her, and she swore her heart skipped a beat.
Okay, maybe the trouble was worth it.
Staring back at her was, quite possibly, the prettiest boy she’d ever come across: Light amber pupils, mint green hair tied back into a ponytail, multiple ear piercings, the coolest cap ever, and a mask that just screamed ‘mysterious backstory.’
What Luz didn't know, however, was that the "pretty boy" she was crushing so hard on outside school was actually the famously intimidating popular girl from her class - Amity Blight.
