Cinder Fall is a master infiltrator, capable of using every available asset to her advantage. She needs a cover for her infiltration of the CCT, and fortunately, a Dance is a place where a girl might sneak off with a boy for a wholly explainable—if not discussed in polite company—reason. She just needs to pull away a pre-selected mark, leave him seeing stars, and then go on her merry way, with a witness who won't quite remember the night, but will remember she was a part of it. A foolproof plan, unless there's something about her mark that Cinder wasn't expecting and her pride cannot endure.
