    Previously called What's your favorite thing about space? Mine is space.

    After stumbling on an unknown space vessel Hi'z'shi and Sho'ta discover 12 malfunctioning cryo-stasis pods. One seems to be working though and they resolve to awaken its contents and take it to safety. What they don't know is the ship they are on is a Terran star cruiser. And they are now in possession of one of the most dangerous creatures in the galaxy.

    The two now have to care for a Deathworlder while being chased down and hunted by galactic traffickers as they figure out if Terrans are as truly dangerous as they've been told.

    H'zashi's feathers stood on end, blood boiling at the fear in the fledgeling's eyes, the way their running was flagging even though their breathing still came way too fast— He flew forwards, covering the remaining distance and swiftly whirling around the little Green, placing himself between them and their pursuers, wings spread wide. He put one wing back to cover them.

     

    Internally, he both cooed and cried when Green's hands immediately grabbed onto him, tucking close.

    The Dresqill had been a planet of conquerors that plagued the solar system, colonizing planets and enslaving their inhabitants.

    Until Oblivion. Or Terra, as it was later renamed by the Council. The Dresquill ventured into the distant solar system only to send back frenzied reports and distress signals. It's unclear if they were left to die on that planet or if they were simply exterminated before help could arrive, but the reports they sent were saved and served as a warning to avoid Oblivion.

    Now traffickers have managed to capture two creatures from Oblivion, placing them in the same cells as the other prisoners in an attempt to torture them. But perhaps these beings have been misunderstood this whole time? They look like of cute-- Nope, they're deadly.

    Nighthide is lateral on the ground, left arm twisted at an uncomfortable angle and his right arm is extended at his side. His capture weapon is strewn carelessly around him, slack. Nothing life threatening. Condition is stable. Relief floods him at the assessment, good.

    Nothing Shouta can't fix.

    His head is turned away, tucked in that stubborn way he does when he doesn't want to wake up for school. Stubborn kid. Shouta huffs at the memory, reaching out like he always does and rolling him onto his back.

    Hitoshi flops into a prone position at the touch, lifeless.
