Summary
Eugenie "Ginny" Delacroix and Mikhail "Mihay" Bagenov clash in an enemies-to-lovers retelling of the enchanting comic by Ah Ai Maria. Ginny tries to navigate the business obligations and familial hindrances in her path in Regency-era France on her quest to become a world-class engineer. Mihay is determined to see the Delacroix family's mining empire fall, and he'll use any means necessary to achieve that goal - including impersonating Sava Vinogradof, his lead engineer, and taking the post of Ginny Delacroix's tutor to gain a foothold in the family. In spite of his best efforts, Mikhail comes to realize that Ginny might be just as important to him as his scheme, but that realization might come too late...
This adaptation is meant to be a remix of the original comic. Certain names, characterizations, and circumstances are wildly different, but the overall themes are preserved, if not given a darker edge.
