In the wake of his return to the crew and Merry's death, Usopp decides to grieve for his lost friend by sending her story out into the world within a bottle. This is found by Law during a time in his life when such a story is exactly what he needs to hear to keep going.

Summary
“Yep!” Usopp says, before he can consider the wisdom of lying to a witch or fairie or whatever supernatural creature takes the shape of a frowning boy with yellow oven mitts. “I’m a... a prince, actually.” He cringes, but it’s too late to call back the flustered words, so he has no choice but to commit to the story. “I’m on a mission to greet all my loyal subjects. And, um, collect taxes.” He points at the plate. “One loaf of bread should cover it, for now.”
The boy laughs: a startled sort of sound, like he wasn’t expecting something so loud to come from his own body.
“You’re not a prince,” he says, and Usopp’s face flames, “but I’ll give you the bread.”

While foraging for food, a starving boy stumbles across a lonely prince in an abandoned watchtower.

Summary
“Yeah, well.” Sammie shrugs, finishing off his beer. “Maybe I was called here for a reason, same as you.”
Remmick sucks his teeth in response. He’s always been annoyed by church folk who believe everything is predetermined by God or such nonsense. Remmick has always made his own choices. They haven’t been good choices, but they’re his and Remmick sticks by them.
“I wasn’t called here.” Remmick informs Sammie, rolling his eyes. “I found my way here on accident. There’s a difference.”
“Oh, really?” And now Sammie is looking over at him, and despite the tragic story he just told there’s amusement sparkling in his gaze. “A thief and a murderer, living as a priest on accident? You really believe that?”

Summary
“I don’t understand,” Yuuji whispers, tilting his head as Choso drags his nose down Yuuji’s throat. “You don’t even know me.”
It hurts to hear. It isn’t true.
“You don’t remember. It’s not your fault. You don’t need to feel guilty about the things you feel, or don’t feel. The things you remember, or don’t remember.”
Yuuji is shaking. Choso holds him tighter.
“If the things you remember are true, it means I don’t know who I am.”
Choso kisses him under his jaw.
“If the things I remember are lies, it means I don’t know anything at all.”
They breathe in time with each other, and it doesn’t matter if everything Choso remembers is a lie. Yuuji is here, and that is the truth.

Summary
Yuuji is about to get adopted by a brother he's never met. Before his life gets uprooted and he has to start a new life in a new city with a stranger, he wants to make his own decision, have some control over a first, and let off some steam. He decides he wants to hook up. He meets Choso.
