“This is Seungmin,” Chan introduces warmly.
“Sure,” Minho says with minimal interest. “Is he any good?”
Seungmin has never really felt self-conscious about his body, but suddenly all he feels is the limp weight of his skinny legs and knobby knees as Minho gives him an unimpressed onceover.
“He’s good, Minho. Completely rounds out our midfield.”
Minho looks Seungmin in the eye for the first time, if only briefly.
“Great. You’ll have no problem not getting in the way.” Then he’s turning around, jogging back to the field like Seungmin is a speck with both everything and nothing to prove.

Summary
Beside him, Jisung suddenly slaps his hands against his thighs. “Aren’t we eating anything? It’s Thanksgiving.”
“Go cook something, then,” Hyunjin groans, turning away.
Jisung looks him over in concern, but Hyunjin bats him away. He’s thankful when Jisung quietly nods and doesn’t prod him. He’s not so thankful when Jisung stands and turns to Minho instead, holding out his hand.
“Come here, brother-in-law.”
Minho laughs and reaches out to take his hand, while Seungmin glances between them. “Hey, don’t make a move on my husband.”
“No promises,” Jisung teases, before grabbing Minho’s hand and tugging him towards the kitchen. Minho rolls his eyes as he lets himself be dragged away, but Hyunjin swears his cheeks redden at the implications. He glances at Seungmin, watching the way his jaw tenses under his gritted teeth, before leaning in until their shoulders are pressed together.
“What do you think’s going on between them?”

“Kim Seungmin,” Lee Minho says, or rather, demands (because when it comes to Seungmin, Minho rarely, if ever, says anything). “I love you.”
Hyunjin, who’s seated beside him on the sofa, chokes and starts coughing up a spit ball. Jeongin, on Hyunjin’s other side, lets out a strangled noise akin to a cat giving birth and loses his grip on the TV remote, which goes skittering across the floor.
Seungmin blinks, unsure if he should play along or inform Minho that he never agreed to a hidden camera prank, especially during off-work hours.
“Good evening to you too, hyung,” he finally says, choosing to do neither. “Can you hand me the remote?”
(or, minho tells seungmin that he loves him. it takes seungmin six months to say it back.)
