“These are some next level mind games ahead of the match, Jude,” Erling snorts. Not that there’s anything remotely funny about what they’re talking about.
“Erling,” Jude tries, and it works, not because Erling is pathetic, but because this is the first time he’s heard Jude call his name in over a year.
So actually, maybe that does make him a bit pathetic. Whatever.
Or,
Jude is good at the whole self-discipline thing. But just ahead of England's match against Norway, it all comes crumbling down when he thinks of Erling, when Erling thinks of him, and when the internet thinks of the two of them together.

Summary
