Atsumu and Aran have been best friends for what? Four years, now? So of course he trusts Aran to hell and back. And that’s clearly at least some part of what’s supposed to make him want this. And the two have been dating for six months. Atsumu absolutely has very strong feelings for the boy. And that’s also supposed to be important. Plus, six months… that’s apparently a very long time to make a teenage boy wait, according to Suna.
There’s no way he can forget that day two weeks ago when Suna so casually told Atsumu, “He’s going to lose interest if you keep holding out. You say you’re into him, so what’s the hold up?”
And isn’t that the million yen question?

They were after him, the voices, the people, and he didn’t know why. Was Kageyama the boy next to him? Were they after him too? Maybe he would have someone who understood, someone to protect him from the loud pack of wolves.

The statement made Yuka blush; no one ever thanked her before just for being there. Maybe indirectly, but to hear it outright sets her heart ablaze. She looks back at the sea. “I’m not accepting that.”
“Why not?”
“Because it feels like we’d stop doing this.”
Yatora laughs.
“Then, let’s do this again next year.”
Yuka smiles to herself. “Yeah. Let’s.”

“You were lonely?” Asahi sounds like he can’t quite believe it. Yuu huffs on a laugh. He turns down one of the streets where he thinks there might be a hotel, and — yes, there’s a building with some lights on that looks like it could be a small hostel, maybe.
“Yes, I was lonely. Everyone gets a little lonely sometimes. Mine just…followed me around the world.” Asahi doesn’t say anything for a moment. Yuu chances a look at him, finally, and Asahi is rubbing at his cheekbone, something he does when he’s thinking or embarrassed. Yuu’s not sure how or why he knows that after all this time or why he knows it in the first place. He tries not to think too hard about it.
