Summary
It wasn't even that high up.
The thought surfaced from the murky depths of Darry Curtis’ mind as he slowly blinked his eyes open, warm dirt pressing hard into the back of his skull. Getting one arm braced against the dry grass, he started to push himself up and immediately had to stop when the world spun around him and his vision blurred, almost sending him back to a prone position. His stomach gave a sickening lurch; whether it was from nausea or anxiety, he wasn't sure. He did, however, recognize what he was feeling from his days playing high school football.
Yes, Darry was almost certain that he was concussed.Bookmarked by lorelover25

Summary
“C’mon, Johnny, we ain’t gonna bite or nothin’!”
So that was his name! “Hi.” Pony said, noticeably quieter than usual. He wasn’t sure why, it just didn’t seem right to be loud around him.
The boy—Johnny, right?—seemed surprised, raising his hand to give a small wave. Pony gave a small smile. Johnny hesitantly walked into the living room, and Pony scooted over so there would be room on the couch. He sat down.
“Hi.” Pony said again. “I’m Ponyboy.”

Summary
Ivan was supposed to get off at 5:00, usually getting home by 5:15 – it was 5:30, and Till was still laying on their living room couch all by himself.
He texted Ivan the moment the clock hit 5:15 and Ivan had not opened the door, “are you okay?”, “did you get kidnapped?”, “are you having an affair?” each followed by “Yes”, “No”, and “No :’( I would never do that”
Of course he wouldn't, what was Till even thinking.
Ivan followed his texts with, “Working overtime tonight 😓 Might not be home until 8.”
Till felt like killing himself.

Summary
What an irony. The fact is that the source of life for others is the worst curse for Ivan, which only slowly destroys him. A curse that he loves.
Perhaps that's why he fell in love with Till. He is like music, like singing, like art, it inspires, fascinates, makes him follow it like the North Star, it seems as if it leads him towards home, towards happiness, but at the same time ruins him completely.Bookmarked by lorelover25
