Christmas, 2016. Hugh and Tom are invited to Oxford to open the annual Christmas Charity Sale at their old prep school. They complain about the lack of proper newsagent facilities in North Oxford, reminisce over local beer, and then have ill-advised hotel room sex, obviously.

Summary
He summons every vessel of strength left in his face to open the only eye that he can through the aching puffiness. Blurry shapes, light, Teddy, all morph into one, but eventually Jonathan can’t, anymore. He reaches up, one final attempt at some kind of clarity, and he doesn’t know what part of Teddy he finds, but he holds on anyway. He thinks it’s an arm, but it’s enough, pawing at the man like a dog gone blind. Any semblance of contact to soothe every ache inside.
The last thing he feels is a mouth brushing at his temple, a kiss that doesn’t quite know where it wants to be.
A finale fix-it in which Roper is dead, his organisation is well and truly dismantled, and Jonathan and Teddy are left to pick up the pieces—of themselves and each other.
