Summary
For the last four years Remus Lupin has devoted his heart and soul to the only greater force he knows to be real- knowledge. After overcoming the kind of struggles and traumas that would topple even the strongest people, he still manages to get accepted to Gryffindor State University to pursue his Master's degree. He had no intentions of finding anything more. And then his roommate Mary insists he go to a house party that plucks at every insecurity he thought he'd been done with.
Sirius Black has only just begun to peek out from under the protective wings of his best friends, Lily and James Potter. The disgraced heir to the Black family business has always been the center of attention, the brightest star in the sky- or at least he pretends to be. But even 8 years after being disowned, the stain of his family's name still can't be washed away. A fact that a lanky, nerdy stranger makes sure to throw in his face at his own party.
Or- Remus can't stand rich people, Sirius is just tired and Lily and James want them to shut up and date already.

Summary
Top singles player Sirius Black is known for his un-returnable serve, razor-sharp cheekbones, and killer instincts. He's in the midst of a heated race for the year-end #1 spot and chasing the all-time title record. All of his free time should be spent on the practice court, not sitting front row of certain doubles matches just...glaring...for no discernible reason.
On an unrelated note, Remus Lupin is the world’s best doubles player with a penchant for wearing sinfully short shorts and winning title after title with his partner. His partner who is not Sirius Black.
Which is completely fine. Not an issue at all.
...except it definitely is.
