At first, Bonggu tried to rationalize it, just as he’s been rationalizing everything else that he’s noticed this past week, but come on. It’s just so obvious. It’s like the guy wants Bonggu to know he’s a vampire.

When Yejun stopped responding to his texts nearly a decade ago, Noah didn’t think he’d ever see the other boy again. Preoccupied with his own grand ambitions and flourishing new relationships he eventually got over it, though he never stopped wondering what had led to the sudden radio silence.
At thirty, ambitions and relationships both long since having plateaued, he now feels like he’s merely trudging along instead of savoring life and longs for change.
