Summary
In almost every reality, the story of Edward and Alphonse Elric begins the same way.
In almost every reality—but not in this one.
On that fateful night, the price for the sin the brothers had committed was Alphonse’s eye and Edward’s entire body. By sacrificing his own arm Alphonse binds his older brother’s soul to their father’s armor. Later, after meeting Roy Mustang, who invited him to join the military, Alphonse sets out on a quest for atonement and to restore Edward’s body.
But will he notice in time that his older brother is beginning to lose not only his body, but also… himself?
