Summary
When an infection begins spreading through dimensions, the survivors are faced with multiverses colliding.
This AU originates in the universe of Earth-11703, where Celia Allen is Spider-Woman. The timeline takes place between the Doc Ock arc, three months after Oliver Octavious, Celia’s best friend whom she fought while disguised as Spider-Woman and his secret identity as the villain Doctor Octopus, died in an accident having to do with his mechanical arms killing him after he resists their control. She was let go from her internship at Oscorp, and now works at the Daily Bugle as an exclusive photographer for Spider-Woman. She works with Gwen Wilson-Stacy, investigative journalist by day and mercenary Deadpool by night. In this universe, she is both a Gwen variant and a Deadpool variant, and contains aspects of both backstories. In canon originally, Gwen/Deadpool would eventually get the assignment of tracking and killing Spider-Woman, but this is just before that in this AU. Summary
Ryland Grace and Rocky bring the Hail Mary out of retirement when it becomes clear that their universe is not the only one being affected by astrophage.
This is complicated by the fact that some of the universes are domains of death, suffering, and anarchy, while others rely mainly on the power of friendship and song. Between their conflicting tones of satire, gothic literature, cosmic horror, and kid-friendly humor, they may never unravel which of them was actually supposed to save the multiverse in the first place.

Summary
Ryland doesn't know where he is, what he's doing, or why he's doing it.
