"It's going to be a bad night," Neil explains, tone apologetic. He hasn't had one in a while, and they don't sleep apart even when they know it's going to be a bad night for either of them, but Neil can tell this is going to be one of his worst. "I can stay out here tonight."
Andrew's eyes flicker down to his ankle and he frowns.
"How many times am I explaining this to you? You aren't sleeping out here," Andrew says flatly. Neil doesn't think he's going to be able to sleep, knowing the nightmare this whole scenario is going to bring forth. He doesn't say it, already thinking of something else he can use to try and persuade Andrew, but Andrew shifts on his feet and then crouches, leaning into Neil's space. "Neil. You are going to sleep in the bedroom."

Even though he could hardly look Aasha in the eye when he broke the news, even though he would never forget the disappointment in Coach Rhenneman’s face when he handed in his contract, there were no two ways about it. He had to leave.
