    Summary

If asked what was the first work of Trent Crimm's he'd read, Theodore Lasso would have incorrectly answered An Aquarian Guide to Atlantis, IL.

Ted Lasso gets the opportunity of a lifetime when he's called to fill in for another director on a miniseries produced by Rebecca Welton. To their mutual surprise, Ted and Rebecca discover they're artistic soulmates, and work together to carve out a place in the film/television industry for themselves: Greyhound Productions.

Just as he's settled into his new life in London, Ted catches wind of a rumor that infamously reclusive novelist Trent Crimm may be auctioning the adaptation rights to one of his books after years of stubborn resistance. Ted (a long-time admirer of Crimm's weird, ergodic stories) cannot abide the thought of someone else directing a film adaptation. But Greyhound Productions doesn't have the money to bid against the big studios.

So, his mission is clear: Ted needs to find Trent Crimm and appeal to him directly.

Shame the man doesn't want to be found.

It's really great that Roy and Trent cleaned up whatever bad blood was between them, because Ted is thrilled to have Trent around the Dogtrack. He's so happy to see how well Trent is getting along with Keeley and Rebecca. And the whole team. And even Roy. And Beard, of course. It's great. There ain't a single reason for Ted to not be over the moon about how well everyone's getting along with Trent.

Because it'd be real odd if Ted wasn't over the goddamn moon about it, right?

“I’m sorry, you’re what?” Rebecca’s staring at him as though he’s announced his plans of robbing a bank. “You’re going out to dinner with Trent Crimm? Trent Crimm, formerly of The Independent? That Trent Crimm?”

In retrospect, sharing his dinner plans when Rebecca asked what he was doing tonight might have been a slight mistake on Ted's part.

    Summary

Jamie's the best matchmaker ever--Roy and Keeley are gonna be back together before they even realize what's hit them. He's also, maybe, possibly fucking Roy on the side, but that's just until Roy gets back with Keeley and everything goes back to normal. Yente shit, like. (Note: This is not what anybody else thinks is going on, like, at all.)

In which Roy tries to be a good boyfriend to someone who doesn't know he has a boyfriend, Keeley and Jamie can't figure out who's stealing Roy from whom, and Jamie ponders the ethics of plagiarizing a blowjob for the greater good and learns to cook in the meantime. A comedy of errors.
