Summary
When Sirius showed up on James's doorstep the summer before their 6th year, the all he could think about was the brother he left at home. But something dark happened that night, something that seemed to break Sirius, and James doesn't know how to fix it. One thing he can do, however, is try to get Regulus out of that house, for Sirius.
It seems that to get through to Regulus, James has to go through four others first. Armed with nothing but his charm and determination, he tries his best to win over Pandora, Evan, Dorcas, and Barty, and convince Regulus to come home with him.

Summary
For a moment James wonders if Regulus would go out with him but immediately stops that train of thought. Even though there is nothing more James wants than to go out with Regulus right now, that is still his Best friends brother. His best friend who will be home any minute now, his best friend who cannot know he loves his brother, and his best friend who can read James Potter like a book.
James will simply have to fall out of love before Sirius returns home. There is no other solution. Except it is incredibly hard to fall out of love with someone when they are sat right next to you. Especially when that someone is Regulus Black who has piercings, tattoos, gorgeous contrasting black and blond curls that James longs to run his fingers through and who rides a motorbike.
This solution is hopeless.
Or the one where James falls in love with his best-friend's little brother as soon as he sees him for the first time in 6 years

Possessive, obsessive, greedy.
All these things nobody had ever thought to describe James with. And all were unmistakably true.
Words not even James himself had known would ever fit him and now they were all he could think about. Taking, keeping, owning.
It was maddening at best, all consuming at worst.
James craved, he had starved and he devoured.
He was still starving. He thinks it will never cease.
Not when it came to his cloud boy, his black coffee and awful tea boy. Not when it came to Regulus Arcturus Black.Regulus in contrast had always known he had greed. So he had refused to even glance at James once too many before he could ask for more. Ask for all of him.
All in vain when James Potter made it his mission to push and pull on his life till it finally let him in. All in fucking vain when James Potter sees the blood on Regulus’ hands, wipes it off with his own clean shirt and helps him hide a murder. Regulus’ murder.
As it turns out it was hard not to demand everything when James cuts out his own heart and lays it before his very feet.
Will Regulus take it or step on it?
Or will he simply do both?
