    It isn't that strange that Apollo's soulmark would be in English; after all, he plans to go back some day. Except by the time he grows up, he is hearing the important word almost every day.

    It isn't until Klavier is nine that he realizes his soulmark is in Khura'inese. This is a bit troublesome, especially when he finds himself falling for Apollo Justice, who probably can't speak a word of the language.

    And yet somehow, things tend to work out in the end.

    It had been easy, back when they were about to face almost certain death against a never-ending horde of kaiju, to boldly admit his feelings. Precisely none of that courage had carried over into the aftermath, though, and Hijiyama had just… never followed up on any of it. Waiting for Okino to make the first move.

    But Okino hadn’t done anything, either, aside from the occasional pointed teasing. Had Hijiyama misinterpreted his feelings? Was he no longer interested? Or was he just waiting for Hijiyama himself to make the first move, too?
