"That's not the way of the Jedi." Anakin retorted. And truly, weren't the Jedi correct in the end? His heart had led him to ruin.
“The way of the Jedi has been lost for many centuries,” Obi-Wan's curled lip belied his true thoughts on the matter.

Summary
What if Anakin and Obi-Wan, as Force Ghosts after the events of the Original Trilogy, tried to alter fate? They cannot change their own timeline, so they must meddle with another.
Now, they are powerful, but not omniscient. Anakin is reluctant to go the typical Force vision route, after his visions went ignored or downplayed. So instead, they send back their emotions, their feelings.
