All For One almost wins, but then Eri accidently activates her quirk and sends Izuku and Natsuo back in time, which results in Midoriya gaining new quirk, so of course he tries to save everyone. And Natsuo is just confused, but he'll get over it. Eventually. Probably.

Summary
If I don’t know for sure, I’ll always be afraid. I’ll spend my whole life wondering if I’m actually quirkless or if I’m just a coward. Izuku opened his eyes after the thought. Images flashing through his mind one after another: The doctor’s disappointed face, his mother’s tearful ‘I’m sorry, Izuku’, the burning heat of Kacchan’s palms, and then the cold suffocating weight of the sludge.
He took a step forward, his toes hanging over empty air.
“Please.” He whispered softly. “Please don’t let me be nothing.”
He didn’t jump with a flourish. He simply leaned further, further, further still.
