Summary
James Ogilvie came to Pittsburgh with one goal: securing a coveted Emergency Medicine residency spot at PTMC after graduation. He knew it wouldn’t be easy. He expected long shifts, brutal evaluations, and difficult patients. What he didn’t expect was for his biggest obstacle to come in the form of a barely five-foot-five, infuriatingly brilliant woman who absolutely hated his guts.
Victoria Javadi had one goal for her final year of medical school: survive it. Between grueling shifts in the emergency department, relentless pressure from her family, and the constant expectation that she excel at everything she touches, Victoria has no time —or patience— for James Ogilvie: the obnoxiously tall, arrogant med student who insists on turning every patient interaction into a competition.
But then Victoria gets cheated on, and one ill-advised night out and several other bad decisions turn into a secret rivals-with-benefits situation with the single most irritating man in Pittsburgh. Which would be far more manageable if James wasn’t unexpectedly sorta tolerable outside the ED. Or if somewhere during all of the nights they spend together, their carefully constructed rivalry hadn’t started to fall apart entirely.

Summary
Dennis Whitaker had never had a friend like you, but you were just the sort of friend he needed. Told through the years as Dennis and you grow alongside each other, then grow apart, and then grow back together.
__________But beneath all of the pain and the sadness, wasn't grief just another form of love?
The love that his mother had instilled in the house, had engraved in the brick foundation and the drywall, never dwindled. It never died, or faded with time like the smell of lavender on her cotton bonnet that was folded in her armoire did.
And it was there, all the same, when Dennis met you. When he brought you to his childhood home and kissed you beneath the willow tree, tickling you in the tall grass until your lungs ached with laughter.
The love had been there, and it would always be there. All he had to do was water it, and tend to it like the very flower garden his mother had cultivated.

Summary
The Whitaker Farm sits alone beneath an endless Nebraska sky, where time has stalled and God is always watching.
Michael Robinavitch arrives unwanted and unwelcome, carrying grief and a defiance he knows better than to show. Sent away to be fixed, Michael instead learns how to endure - working the land by day, holding his grief close by night.
Dennis Whitaker had spent his entire life learning how to disappear into the quiet. Tasked with bringing the sinner to salvation, he instead discovers that there is no true deliverance in a faith built on fear, and no righteousness in a life so suffocating.
It is within the vastness and the silence of the Nebraska countryside that two lives begin to converge, baring witness to things no one was meant to see, and learning that some winds do not pass through without consequences.

Summary
Samira Mohan expected a casual night out with friends. She didn't expect for Jack Abbot to show up and plop his cowboy hat on her head and take her home.
_____"Drive me home?" She asked sweetly, finally finding her voice again now that his thigh had been removed from between her legs. It had been too distracting, too deliciously purposeful that it had short-circuited something in her. He nodded, dipping low to press a heated kiss at the corner of her lips. Her mouth fell open, eyes blinking heavy up at him as he laughed.
But before she could step away and put space between this incredibly enticing decision she had just made, Jack dropped his hat onto her head. He tugged at the brim until it sat snuggly on top of her hair. She smiled brightly, stepping onto her tippy toes so that her lips could brush against the lobe of his ear. He shivered, and she relished in the power the reaction gave her.
"You've staked your claim, Jack Abbot," She whispered, breath hot and heavy in his ear. He smirked, nodding as his eyes caught hers.

Summary
There was no reason for him to intervene. They didn’t know each other. Not in any meaningful way. A brief exchange in a stairwell did not justify involvement. She might not even remember him. From her perspective, he would be a stranger—a large, older man in a car pulling up unprompted in the dark, in the rain. There were variables there he couldn’t control. Unknowns in how she would react, how she would interpret it.
He didn’t like unknowns.
He also didn’t like the image of her standing there, soaked through, waiting in the rain.
The irritation came quickly—not at her, but at the situation. At himself.
“Fuck,” he said under his breath.
He signaled left.

Summary
“I wouldn’t hurt you, little omega.” Was it her imagination or had his voice gone even lower? If she could get herself to look at his eyes, would the pupils be blown, all darkness running through? Would he command her next? If he ordered her to present, would she be able to withstand him? A need she didn’t recognize and definitely didn’t want, rose up within her, hard and fast, egging her on. Take off your clothes, omega. Get on your knees, omega. Show me your neck, omega. Let me take, fuck, bite, omega. She felt her scent glands pulse, that soft, sore spot between her shoulder and her neck, and then the memory of teeth dragging over it, trying to bite what she didn’t want bitten. The sharpness of the memory cleared the fog in her brain and she blinked.
Emma Nolan is proud to be an omega and a nurse. Past experience has made her wary of alphas but when she meets Brendon Park, the orthopedic attending and alpha, she's unable to get his scent out of her head. Park has been haunted by a sweet omega-scent all over the hospital. When he finds the omega in question, he never wants to let her go, but Emma needs time and to learn how to trust, both herself and her alpha, before she is ready to let herself be taken in.

Summary
They never should have met, is the thing, not really. See each other in the halls, sure. Smile (her) and nod (him) to one another? Sure.
But it was a total diametric alignment of the universe that led to them having a conversation, and that fact wasn't lost on him.

Summary
“So ditch him,” comes out of his mouth before any critical thinking takes place. He holds out his hand. “Have dinner with me.”
“What?” Emma’s eyes widen. “That’s okay, I’m—I can take the bus back home.”
It’s clear from her tone she thinks the offer is just because her date stood her up and he feels bad. A miscommunication that must be rectified as soon as possible. Brendon doesn’t like being misunderstood.
He lets himself look her over, take in her bare legs, her short dress, the way the straps drape over her collarbones. “Dressed like that? No you can’t.” Impatiently, he reasserts that she should take his hand.
“Really,” she pleads, eyes wide and shining with emotion, “just go home. I’m fine.”
“I know you are.” That’s not the point.
It gives her pause. Two little lines appear between her eyebrows, adorably furrowed in confusion. “I—you what?”
He softens. “I know you’re okay. I’m asking you to dinner because I want to take you to dinner.”
