Summary
There were almost too many ways to describe the moment before the plunge, and twice as many ways to compartmentalize the stress that came with it. As a ranger, Cyrene was well acquainted with that cold, heavy moment before she loosed her arrow and set the world aflame with action that could no longer be held back. Planning out moments further, when the momentum ended and there was time to breathe again, however? That wasn't something she had much experience with, and she wasn't very experienced with speaking to familial-like figures, either. There were many new steps to take, but she resolved to walk the path ahead towards creating a peaceful future for Shadowheart, and for her parents regardless. A simple secluded cottage, surrounded by wildlife, flowers, and animals... She couldn't quite think of a better place to settle for herself and her companions, either.

Summary
Izuku could have been a hero. But he isn’t. Instead he’s tired, cranky, and just trying to get through work. It would help if all these people stopped being so weird, nearly dying all the time. He just wants to earn his keep and get a good nights sleep.
In one instance Izuku is a hero- that’s what people keep saying. But that’s too strong a word. Too strong a feeling. Izuku isn’t a hero and he never will be. He doesn’t want to be one anymore either. A lifetime where he’s a hero doesn’t exist (even when it does). But that’s neither here nor there, nobody’s business.
