Summary
That morning, Regulus Black woke up alone in a manor that felt quieter than usual—in a loud, suffocating way. A coffee cup sat on the floor by the door, half-empty, cold, with a smudged stain along its side.
His brother’s wand was gone—not unusual. Their mother took it most of the time to prevent any major, displeasing event from occurring under her roof. His brother’s side of the bed was cold—not unusual either, as he was a light sleeper, plagued by insomnia every time he came back home.
His brother’s Bowie cassette was gone.
That was unusual.
So it had finally happened, then. Mother had actually done it. Sirius was gone. His big brother had left, taking with him the only thing he truly considered his—a cassette.
He had left in the middle of the night without turning back or second-guessing his decision. Sirius Black, Regulus’s safe place, had left him behind without a word. He had thought he would feel devastated when—not if, when—it finally happened.
He didn’t.
He couldn’t feel a thing.
After all, it was to be expected.or

Summary
There are three names that have haunted James for ten years.
Barty, Evan, Regulus.
James never wanted to come back to his hometown. And he never thought he did see Barty Crouch Jr., Evan Rosier or Regulus Black again – especially not after what happened.
But here they are, in all of their grown glory – brutal, tatted and no longer the boys he knew at Hogwarts – the boys James bullied relentlessly.

They’re out for blood – James’s blood. Their ruthless thirst for revenge turns James’s skin to ice, and he soon discover just how raving and hateful they are.
But despite popular opinions, his life was never full of butterflies and sunshine. He has endured a hell of a lot worse than what they plan to do to him.
They may think James is back with his tail between his legs, all battered and bruised – but what they’ve forgotten is that James is the original King of Hogwarts.
And he refuses to be dethroned.
