    When Uchiha Sasuke wakes up with memories of a past life following the aftermath of the massacre of his clan, he despairs. The future seems bleak and cruel and kami, all he wants to do is survive. But a sitting duck is a dead duck and Uchiha Sasuke, above all things, callously, selfishly, wants to live.
    The problem with Uchihas, you see, is that they love too deeply they end up destroying themselves in a myriad of emotions, bursting into flames.
    Or
    A Sasuke self-insert fic with a protagonist possessing rapidly deteriorating sanity under the pen of a trainwreck of an author who is absolutely not projecting at all.

    I spent the last year and a half reading every Re:Zero reaction fic I could find, and now, here’s my own attempt at a worldwide reaction. The world watches Re:zero, arcs 1-9.

    Credit to the writers who came before me, especially Feopyr and “The 4 Nations Witness the Strongest Existence". I used their viewing-description template, and Feopyr, if you feel this crosses a line, just tell me — I’ll remove it and write my own, (please don’t, it would take forever).
    I wrote this out of spite because I wanted to prove I could. Whoever said writing is fun is a liar, but it does calm me down. After reading so many fics, I figured out what formats I liked and daydreamed scenarios nonstop until the ao3 curse forced me to finally make my own.

    Fun fact: if you check Feopyr’s comments, you’ll see me praising their work; two days later I got a fever for three days, and wrote 30,000 words at once.
    So here it is — my attempt.

    I want advice. Real advice. Grammar, characterization, missed details, ideas for future arcs — everything. And if anyone wants to beta read, let me know in the comments.

    (Notes will explain my warning and why I didn’t say this at the start.)

    So, picture this: I’m twenty, running on nothing but cheap instant coffee and the sheer, unadulterated panic of final semester. I am literally hitting "Save" on my thesis, my soul ready to leave my body from exhaustion... and then it literally leaves my body.

    Next thing I know, I wake up in the body of Yuta Okkotsu.

    The first thing I did? I didn't panic(LIE). I booked the first flight to Haneda Airport to get to Shibuya. Why didn't I just call Gojo and explain everything so he could speedrun the entire story? Look, do you want a story or not? Stop asking logical questions.

    Yuta main powers? Noope (No way to access her as she actually passed away in the end of Jjk 0).
    My Cursed Energy? More than double than canon but its no longer bottomless like canon without Rika
    My current strategy? Aggressive, pathologically confident bullshitting and surprise attacks.

    See, Gojo-sensei is currently on mandatory vacation (stuck in a box because he's too OP), and the world needs a heavy hitter. The kids—Yuji, Megumi, Nobara, Maki (and all the others)—are fighting for their lives.
    So yeah. I’m the most reliable "adult" here, and I’m technically just a college kid who wants his degree and a nap.

    “A meeting,” Tony doesn’t even bother to hide his incredulity.

    “Yes.”

    “With the Galactic Empire,” he attempts to lighten his own mood with the joke, but the response he gets from Ross makes the blood freeze in his veins.

    “They call themselves the Unitary Galactic Communia, actually.”

    If Tony lets his silence speak for itself, it’s only partially because his throat is closing up on him at an alarming rate.

    “I know it sounds bad at first—“

    “Oh no no no, not at all,” Tony interjects quickly, “this is wonderful news. A communia. A unitary one. Sounds very… organized. They must be people who know how to keep an army. Of galactic proportions. This is great, really. Not debilitatingly frightening in the least.”

    ...
    Alternatively: the freshly pardoned Rogues have complaints, Tony is dead on his feet, and Steve has issues with the handsome alien lord who keeps offering Stark the literal universe.
