Summary
Jinx's life had been defined by loss up until that point. Everyone who got close to her ended up either leaving or dying.
The dying she could deal with. It was the leaving that destroyed her. She couldn't help but feel like it was her fault; that she was either too much or not enough. That there was no way for her to be just right. To be seen. To be understood. To be loved.
That was until she met Silco and, for the first time in her life, she did feel seen. The love — unconditional — and the understanding — bone-deep — weren’t far behind. Jinx could never quite wrap her mind around that; could never allow herself to believe it, despite the fact that his love for her had never once faltered. Not even when she did the unthinkable.
Blood on her hands and her gun, the metallic taste of it in her mouth. His blood. Her hands cradling his head — she needs him to know that he is not alone, that she’d never abandon him — but also her bullets in his chest. Her fault, all her fault, and all he did was smile, look at her like she had hung the moon and all of the stars, and tell her that she’s perfect.
Jinx can’t accept that and, if there’s even a sliver of truth to his words, maybe she doesn’t have to.

Summary
As shocking as it may sound, going to the movies is one of Lucifer’s favorite dates, and it is so for two simple reasons: 1. it’s a really good and easy spontaneous date to have, since there is always at least one movie playing at any nearby movie theater (and if the movie sucks… well, let’s just say that it’s really good that it’s dark in there) and 2. his husband always spoils him rotten during his designated dates… and that was one of them – from letting Lucifer pick the movie no matter how much his face may imply that he (sometimes) thinks Lucifer’s pick sucks, to buying Lucifer every single overpriced sweet snack the theater offers, and to them sharing a drink and chatting and laughing as they wait for the movie to start.
OR
Lucifer and Marcus enjoy a spontaneous date at the movies where they end up watching an eerily familiar romcom.

When he had received the text, he had swiped away the notification as fast as possible because he just couldn’t allow himself to think about it. His little… tryst had been a bad habit he’s indulged himself in whenever his boyfriend hadn’t been around in the past few months, which was not the case that week.
But things were different now and the prospect of a bed to sleep in for the night, some guilt-free great sex and maybe even that drink he so badly craved all wrapped up in one neat, handsome, clever, funny package certainly sounded like a good one. And just like that, it was decided. He now had someone to call.

When Lucifer breaks up with his boyfriend, leaving their shared apartment with only a suitcase in tow, he finds himself in a bit of a pickle. Good thing his lover is a much better partner than his actual (former) partner and is, therefore, always ready to help him!

A deep breath and then she felt the cold water wash over her face, a desperate urge to breathe overcoming her like it never had before the one time she was not supposed to breathe. Still, she held her breath, the slight sting of the freezing, toxic river water making it so easy to ignore her body's desperate cries for air and the chill going down her spine and creeping its way into her bones.
A moment passed like that, a million more moments of burning lungs and uneasiness following it. Her one source of comfort in those never-ending, never-relenting, achingly slow moments, the one anchor that kept her from being pulled away into the dark waters beneath her never to be seen again being her father's steady, gentle hold.
