It had been a good one though, she knew that, because there was a soft, oozy kind of feeling pouring through her veins like honey and that was unusual enough in itself for her to recall when she awoke.

“Who is Zaddy Night Shift?” Mel asked, at least two decibels louder than the entire previous conversation. Princess started walking over. Samira put her face in her hands. “I am Zaddy Night Shift,” Dr. Ellis said, breezing by. “And I don’t play house. I provide a loving home for the right woman.”
“My heart belongs to another, king.” Trinity said absently. Mel looked at her in confusion. “Not you, Melancholy.”
“I do not understand what’s happening.” Mel announced cheerfully.
