Summary
What I’ve written here is unbelievable, but every word is true, so please read until the very end. It’s important. You have to.
It was May 6th, and I met my senpai, a third-year at Inarizaki. I went to Chuo Library, and there he was, ██████. He was wearing... bunny ears.

Suna Rintarou, a second year high school student and social reject can't stop running into the famous child actor Miya Osamu—who just so happens to be his senpai at Inarizaki High School. The catch? Osamu has become mysteriously invisible to everyone but Suna, a symptom of the fabled Adolescence Syndrome, a supernatural illness caused by the instability of growing up. The two grow closer and closer as Osamu's condition becomes more and more dire.- Language:

Summary
“I said what?” Osamu’s slack jaw hangs so wide, Rintarou kind of wonders if he could get a fist in there. Probably.
“You said you love me.” It is no less absurd the second time. Rintarou navigates to his camera and snaps a picture of Osamu’s dumbfounded face. It’s a good one: jaw wagging, eyes wide under the shadowy brim of his baseball cap, lip pulled up on one side like he’s got a fishhook through it.
Osamu’s confusion fades into suspicion. “That’s not funny.”
“Am I laughing?” Click.
In which Suna and Osamu’s friends-with-benefits arrangement is tested, and fails.

Summary
Except there are certain moments when Rintarou wants to melt into the ground. It's stupid. A flash of grey eyes in his direction and suddenly, he loses all sense of himself. For some reason, he can't figure out how to talk normally to Osamu when there isn't a volleyball to distract him from the way the corners of Osamu’s mouth crinkle when he laughs. No one warned him that the “quieter” twin could make him speechless.
So like any good coping mechanism, Rintarou leans heavily into the familiarity of teasing. His words still come out choppy, grasping onto whatever will hide his stutter best, but at least he's not just staring at the guy like an idiot. No, instead, he's making fun of how many different shapes his carrots are cut into.
