    It was dangerous for an omega to leave the shire. Bilbo had been warned of that many times in his life, but no one had prepared him for what would happen if he was kicked out his front door by a wizard on a power trip without packing any suppressants. He had gotten lucky up until this point. His heats weren't frequent now that he was a few decades past his majority. Luck had to run out eventually.

    This is an oh no, I'm going into an unexpected heat story. A popular trope that I frankly could read 1000 times.
