After cyber city is blanketed with a snow storm, its darkners bundle up for the cold caused by a power outage in the light world. A certain salesman struggles to stay warm, dumpsters aren't exactly great insulation.
(This takes place maybe a few years after tenna and spamton got separated, think 2-4 years.)

After a long work day, made somehow both longer and shorter by the sense of foreboding looming over him the whole time, Tenna now has to face the challenge of making it through the dreaded(?) maintenance session with Spamton. Needless to say, it doesn't go as planned.

Tenna hatches the completely innocent (and totally unrelated to loneliness) plan to hop over to Cyber City and pay Spamton a visit on his day off. Purely to talk business, of course! He wasn't expecting to learn something new about his ever elusive business partner (except, well, some trade secrets if he was lucky) -- nor was he expecting to walk directly into a trap entirely of his own making.

Driven by morbid curiosity, Tenna decides to join the members of his crew who wish to explore this so-called Cyber City, and ends up coming out of it with a little more than he’d expected. Emphasis on little — the unfortunate mailman is rather short.
