Summary
“Is that…?” Lan Wangji whispered. The juniors were looking back and forth between Jiang Cheng and...Jiang Cheng.
The man that stood before them, weapon at the ready, was most certainly Jiang Cheng, from everything down to his hairstyle, icy scowl, and his glowing whip. But he appeared much younger, almost by two decades.
“What is this?” The younger Jiang Cheng snapped, Zidian began to spark angrily. “Is this some sort of trick? What the hell is going on? Are you the reason why we’re here?”
“...We?” The older Jiang Cheng mumbled in confusion. But then all of a sudden, he saw a baby version of his nephew peek out behind the man’s leg, staring at the two Jiang Chengs with a look of wonder and amazement.

Summary
Veritas did not adjust his grip; in fact he did not have any time to decide if he should pull the trigger then and there as Aventurine preempted him and fanned the revolver’s hammer thrice in succession. Not a whit of hesitation there, his hands and his breathing were steady. Veritas had anticipated such actions from Aventurine, and so he beheld the other man with an air of apathy. No surprises there. They were not even on the proper stakes. Six chambers, one bullet, only three shots triggered; he was not impressed.
A lengthened interpretation of what was happening in the Final Victor Light Cone.

“Ratio?” he asks, stepping a bit closer. “It’s me, Aventurine. Are you… do you want to go home?”
At the mention of his name, Ratio stills, a light startle in his step as he turns to face Aventurine. He drops his hands, lacing them back together in front of him. He looks dazed, normal intensity lost from his eyes as they open glassy and vacant. They flex wide with recognition, but he doesn’t say anything.
Ratio goes quiet, and Aventurine doesn't know what to do.
