Something is wrong in Sherlock’s mind palace. Can he work it out in time, or will his mind palace become his mausoleum?

“It’s time to come out,” Sherlock says to the empty air.
There is no flash of movement, but the sofa shifts with the weight of a person sitting on it. He turns and there she is. The Woman. As always in his mind palace, clad in nothing but diamond earrings and high heels, the way she had looked when he first met her.
“Why are you here?”
She reaches out and strokes his cheek gently, the way she often does when she appears in his mind palace. She never speaks.
“Hello, Sherlock.”
Until now, apparently.
