It wasn’t that his morals had gotten the best of him— he had long committed to the whole freak pervert thing. It was working well for him, really, and though guilt still wracked him from time to time, he was way, way too far in to stop now.
He just… felt bad, okay? Chrissy had looked fucking terrified when they first met in the woods, like she was seeing shit or being haunted by some vengeful spirit. She probably hadn’t done shit to deserve it, too, and she was just looking for something to take the edge off of it. He could just… sell her the shit and leave her to her own devices to ingest it but that, well, that went against the Munson doctrine. He would always, always, cut lines for a pretty girl and make sure they got in her nose safely— at any cost!

She was ungrateful for most of the things he did for her.
For example, he didn’t have to give her anesthesia when he cut into her; the sounds of her screaming and dumb whining would do nothing to phase him, and, luckily, the chair was equipped with thick straps that kept her from moving in any way he didn’t want her to— she didn’t even have the option of trying to push him off of her. Any squirming away from his scalpel would be futile. But, in his benevolence and out of the kindness of his heart, he gives her medicine to make all the pain go away. He would never hurt her like that, and he hopes she knows that.
But, more often than not, Eri goes down kicking and screaming until the drugs finally take hold and put her into a deep sleep.
That’s when Kai liked her best.
