    She turned the key. A faint click told her the door was unlocked.

    “Besides,” she continued, pushing the door open, “has it never occurred to you that, in the past few months since we became partners, quite a few people may have seen us together and assumed the same thing? They simply did not mention it.”

    Judging by the look on his face, it had not occurred to him at all.

    Genau and Methode are mistaken for a couple, which seems to affect Genau far more than he would like to admit.
