Summary
The only consolation was the wolf’s softness toward him. Alpha Hale could have taken him right on this very table in front of everyone and be in his full right to do so, but instead it was just that — his soothing palm on Stiles’ knee, his thumb stroking back and forth, his breath upon Stiles’ ear.
Would he be gentle?
Stiles glanced at him from the corner of his eyes. A scary thought had taken over his mind. Just one little word.
Perhaps.

Summary
He should’ve kept his mouth shut. He should’ve smiled like always. Now everything was ruined, crushed, destroyed. Dust, shards, and the remnants of his pride. Love that no one needed.
Derek’s gaze scalded the side of his face but Stiles refused to meet it. He had already revealed too much.

Summary
The kisses grew hotter each day. Each lick, each bite tasted of desperation.
They reminded each other about the audience, invisible but no less real. A hand on the chest, fingers grabbing the chin to stop the lips from pursuing. Stuttered breaths, simmering heat, gritted teeth. Forehead against forehead and noses rubbing together. In the end, it was Derek who smiled at him in placation and pressed the last calming kiss to Stiles’ eager lips. As if they had all time in the world. As if they would be doing it again and again and again, after. As if something real would exist beyond this TV set.
Yes, Derek kissed him like he wanted it to last. If Stiles was a romantic at heart, he would’ve said it felt like yearning. For what — Stiles didn’t know. There ought to be thousands like him in Derek’s world, while Derek was one in a million.

Summary
There was no physical equivalent to what it felt like they did, so intimate it was. It was seeing each other naked, it was deep make-outs, it was dry-humping, and it was sex, but it was none of it. Perhaps, if someone opened their chest cavities, took their hearts and squished them together, that’s what it would feel like — feeling their valves open and close, the blood pump, the muscles contract, and one heartbeat pulse right into the other.
Derek offered his hand. “Let me show you one more time.”
“Show me what?”
“What would it feel like to have an alpha.”
Warmth burst in Stiles’ tight chest. His stomach swooped. His spark trembled in anticipation, reaching out, striving to taste that power again. Going red under the constant gaze of those hazel eyes, Stiles put his hand in Derek’s. He couldn’t help but give a small inhale at their sparks meeting once more.
Heat. Weight and weightlessness. Tight embrace and high, impenetrable walls. Power. Safety.

Summary
“So, I was thinking of roasting a duck tomorrow,” Dean announces, banging into their house—literally; he kicks the door open with one foot, a flurry of plastic bags looped over his arms.
“A… duck?” Sam asks, frowning—though he’s not sure if he’s frowning about the statement or because Dean can never remember to bring his reusable bags when he goes to the grocery store no matter how often he gets reminded. “Hey, what happened to having a Thanksgiving turkey?”
